Back to School-Girls Night Out for Moms at the Melting Pot

As an summer draws to a close and kids head back to the classroom for another school year, The Melting Pot restaurants invite moms to celebrate their newfound freedom with a "Girls Night Out" fondue event during August and September.

"Moms play so many different roles every day - chef, chauffeur, caregiver, wife, coworker, coach, teacher," said Kendra Sartor, The Melting Pot's vice president of brand development. "Our Girls Night Out events give them an opportunity to just be themselves for a change, and the fondue experience itself allows them to relax, recharge and reconnect with friends- no kids, husbands, dishes or diapers allowed."

While each location puts its own twist on the event, most offer cheese, salad, entree and chocolate courses for an all-inclusive price of around $35 per person. A favorite featured drink is the Yin & Yang martini -Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur, Stoli Vanil vodka and ice cream topped with chocolate shavings. Many restaurants even offer additional pampering like fashion shows and spa treatments in the restaurant, helping moms decompress from a kid-filled summer.
